What is Metaverse Learning?

Add Your Comments >>

The metaverse is a virtual world that is becoming increasingly popular. Educators are exploring how to use the metaverse to create immersive and engaging learning experiences.

The metaverse is different from traditional online learning in that it is an online environment where Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality can coexist. It provides a fresh digital world to collaborate, solve problems, and practice in, with an interactive engagement method

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.

AR can be used to create interactive learning experiences that allow students to explore and learn about different topics in a more engaging way. For example, students could use AR to learn about the human body by overlaying digital models of organs on their own bodies.

Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) is the term used to describe a three-dimensional, computer-generated environment that can be explored and interacted with by a person.
