What is Problem-Based Learning?

Add Your Comments >>

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered teaching method that involves students working in groups to solve open-ended problems. The problems are complex, real-world issues that encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and learn concepts.

PBL is based on constructivist learning theory, which promotes active learning. Students create knowledge and comprehension of a subject through the experience of solving a problem.
